All Too Well...

"There's an old poem by Neruda that I've always been captiVated by, and one of the lines in it has stuck with me ever since the first time I read it. It says ''love is so short, forgetting is so long.'' It's a lIne I've related to in my saddest moments, when I needed to know someone else had felt that exacT same way. And when we're trying to move on, the moments we always go back to aren't the mundane ones. They Are the moments you saw sparks that weren't really there, felt stars aligning without having any proof, saw your future before it happened, and then saw it slip away without any warning. These are moments of newfound hope, extreme joy, intense passion, wishful thinking, and in some Cases, the unthinkable letdown.” – Taylor Swift

I believe everybody has, at one point in time, experienced love, being loved and lost. Even if it is just a brief encounter, even if it is just a mere crush; you feel. As soft as the feeling of a feather brushed to the skin, you feel.
And to have lost the emotion, is heartbreaking. Be it you, or that other person who has lost it, it’s devastating.
But to lose that person, even when the emotion is still there, is even worse.

Sometimes the bond that ties two people together becomes disentangled and got lost in time and transactions. Cruel world we are living in. But that is just how life goes.
And the time will come, if ever, that fate will bring these two people together again. It could be just in time, or could be too late.
And the feeling could remain as it is. Intense as ever or just a tingle tiny spark that brings warmth to your heart, it remains.

“Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation”, Khalil Gibran said.
“…But you can never love people as much as you can miss them” - John Green.

Believe, that one day, all those teeny tiny puzzles that never make sense and probably never will...all those emotional roller coaster ride…all those intense moments and crazy split-second dreams…it will all fall into place.
And maybe that person is not the one who will eventually steal your heart away, maybe yes.
From that moment on, you’ll understand that life had taught you and invaluable lesson: learning how to feel…To love, and be loved.

prince charming does not always come with white horses. sometimes he's on foot. so expect him to be late. :p
